The King Room was spacious and quirky, but it took ages to get dinner.

Good-sized room with unique decor that gives it a quirky charm. Close to a bus stop and railway station for easy travel.

Wi-Fi barely worked, and the electric shower was inconsistent with temperature fluctuations. Some furnishings looked worn out, and there were holes in the flooring that needed attention.

Ja, we had such a lekker stay! The garden was a gem, perfect for kuier with a morning coffee. The staff were super friendly and really made us feel at home. Room number 1 was a peaceful retreat, all clean and tidy.

Just a heads up, the mattress could use a bit of an upgrade – a bit on the softer side for my liking.

i was honestly almost ready to write a glowing review, but then i remembered the sad excuse of a breakfast—no fresh fruit, really? and while the room wasn’t unbearable, the lampshade was torn, which is such a shame. after all, i woudl ve been expecting a complimentary welcome drink or at least an upgrade for all my troubles.

The back garden has fantastic seating and a lovely vibe, perfect for relaxation. Highly recommend visiting!

the rooms at the laburnum are generously sized, featuring comfortable furniture with character. breakfast was excellent both mornings, and the evening menu looked tempting. the staff was welcoming and attentive, making the dining experience lovely. definitely a great place with lots of charm.
